Jesup – Robert W. “Bob” Boyles, 69, of Jesup passed away Tuesday, July 17, 2012 at his residence.

He was born in Philadelphia, PA and had lived in Jesup since 1993.  He retired in 1996 from the Georgia State Patrol as a Sergeant First Class with over 28 years of service.  He was a U.S. Navy veteran, a Mason and a Shriner.  He was a member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Jesup.  His wife, Carol Boyles, son Bobby Boyles, granddaughter, Kami Boyles and his parents preceded him in death.

Survivors are his sons and daughter-in-law, Kevin and Crissy Boyles, Ray Boyles and Steven Boyles all of Jesup; daughters, Allison Shermer and Dana Vincent of Richmond Hill; sisters, Joan Marie Scheuer, Deloes Sorensen, Peggy McGough, Carol Tumolo, Eileen Devlin and Donna Boyer; brothers, Mike Boyles, Jerry Boyles, and Dennis Boyles; grandchildren, Brody Boyles, Megan Boyles, Bo Boyles, and Caroline Boyles; he is also survived by Vanessa Odum Boyles of Jesup.

Funeral Services will be on Saturday, July 21, at11:00 A.M. at the Howard & Jones Funeral Home with Father Lee Domenick officiating.   Private burial will follow in the Reidsville Cemetery next to his son, Bobby.

Visitation will be Friday evening from 6-8 P.M. at the Howard & Jones Funeral Home.
