Mary H. Marlow, 83, passed away Monday, December 3, 2012 at home under the care of Hospice of South Georgia.
Mary was born on August 6, 1929 in Newton County, Georgia to the late Henry C. and Saphronia G. Henson. She worked in patient care at DeKalb Medical Center for twenty-two years before relocating to Jesup in August of 2007. Mary was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary #77 of Conyers, Georgia, the Red Hat Society and the Altamaha Women’s Club. She was also a member of the Gardi Baptist Church where she was active in the Adult Ladies Sunday School Class. In addition to her parents, her husband, Jasper Marlow and a daughter, Frances Dudley preceded her in death.
She is survived by three sons, David Marlow of Jackson, Georgia, Tony Marlow of Jesup, GA and Keith Marlow of Rex, Georgia; one daughter-in-law, Angela Marlow of Jackson, Georgia; seven grandchildren, Kim Dudley, Dusty Galloway (Mac D.), Cody Galloway (Tiffany), Christina Hall (Travis), Rebecca Marlow, Mary Frances Marlow and Henri Marlow and seven great grandchildren, Danny, Mely, Angie, Xander, Kaitlyn, Hayden, Whitley and one great grandchild on the way.
Memorial services will be at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 5, 2012 at the Gardi Baptist Church with Reverend Michael Smith officiating.
Interment services will be 1:00 p.m. on Friday, December 7, 2012 at the graveside in Fairview Memorial Gardens in Stockbridge, GA.
