Pamela Marie Kinchen, 50, passed away on Tuesday, October 16, 2012 at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida surrounded by her loving family.

Pam was a native of Appling County and was a lifelong resident of Wayne and Appling Counties. She worked for over twenty years at Jesup Furniture Outlet, where she attained the position of Office Manager. Pam was a member of Walkerville Baptist Church in Pierce County and loved reading and spending time with her family. Her mother, Edith Long Griffis, preceded her in death. Pam was a loving daughter, mother, sister and wife and will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her husband of twenty-two years, Tom Kinchen, Jr. of Screven; two daughters, Brittany Roberson of Jesup and Amanda Kinchen of Statesboro; father and stepmother, Colvin and Jean Dykes Griffis of Baxley; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Matt and Jan Griffis of Baxley, Tim Griffis of K’ville and Drew and Anslee Griffis of K’ville; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Thomas D. and Evelyn R. Kinchen of Screven and one brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Carl and Karen Harris of Odum. Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

Visitation will be from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. on Friday, October 19, 2012 at Howard & Jones Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 20, 2012 in the James R. Gordon Memorial Chapel at Howard & Jones Funeral Home with Reverends Lamar Lee and Hubert Hart officiating. Active pallbearers will be Armon Griffis, Don Griffis, Kim Thornton, David Graham, Devin Long and Brett Long. Honorary pallbearers will be Pam’s Cousins.

Interment will follow in Big Creek Cemetery.
