Martha Westberry, 72, passed away on Thursday, October 11, 2018 at home.
A resident of Jesup for over fifty years, Martha was born on March 11, 1946 in Savannah, Georgia to the late James Martin and Ida Mae Harrelson Long. She worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant at all three nursing homes in Jesup before her retirement in 1996. In addition to her parents, her beloved husband, Robbie Roy Westberry, Sr.; son, Robbie Roy Westberry, Jr.; daughter, Lisa Westberry and brothers and sisters, Paul Long, Joe Long and Barbara Faith Moore, all preceded her in death.
Survivors include her daughters, Tracy Lang and husband, Scott of Wallis, TX and Terri Wages of North Georgia; brothers, Ronnie and Ralph Long of Pooler, GA; sister, Montez Carrington of Girard, GA; seven grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Monday, October 15, 2018 at Howard & Jones Funeral Home in Jesup.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at Howard & Jones Funeral Home in Jesup with Reverend Stanley Todd officiating.
Interment will follow in Piney Grove Cemetery.
