Margie Morris, 63, passed away peacefully on January 31, 2015 at home under the care of Spanish Oaks Hospice surrounded by her family.
A native of Bradenton, Florida, and a longtime Alabama resident; Margie was born on August 3, 1951 to the late I.M. and Bernice Brinson. She moved to Rye Patch thirty-two years ago and had worked most of her life as a homemaker. Margie spent much of her time caring for elderly people and enjoyed fishing and drawing. In addition to her parents, her sister, Ruby Jean Hannah and her brother, Zikle Martin Brinson preceded her in death.
Survivors include her husband of thirty-two years, Roy Morris of Rye Patch; three sons, Freddie Paul Roberts of Pennsylvania, Daniel Paul Roberts of Ft. Payne, Alabama and Edward Paul Roberts and wife, Sandra of Henagar, Alabama; one brother and sister-in-law, Bartow and Joyce Brinson of Bradenton, Florida and two sisters and brothers-in-law, Jeanette and Richard Rhoden of Pisgah, Alabama and Mary Lynn and Joe Woodle of Langston, Alabama. A host of Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, Nieces, Nephews and extended family members also survive.
Private interment services will be held at a later date in Baggs Cemetery.
