She was born in New York and resided in Coral Springs, Florida for many years before settling in Ludowici, eleven years ago. Karen was employed by McDonalds at both Hinesville locations and loved to crochet, put puzzles together, and write poetry.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Elsie Silliman and father, Robert Korsbin.
She is survived by three daughters and two sons-in-law, Bonnie and Percel Baker of Savannah; Jami and Wayne Strickland and Jennifer Wassmuth, all of Daytona, FL; her three siblings, Phyllis, Kathy, and Warren; and her ten grandchildren, Nicholas, Katelyn, Timothy, Charlen, Brandon, Mikel, Taj, Isabella, Aydan and Rylie.
