Jordan W. Perkins, 20, passed away suddenly on Sunday, June 22, 2014.

Born on April 6, 1994, Jordan was a native and lifelong resident of Brunswick. He was educated in the Glynn County School System and was a 2012 graduate of Glynn Academy. Jordan was in pursuit of a criminal justice degree and had worked extensively in computer design where his talents and creativity were most appreciated. He had worked for Creative Concepts and had most recently been employed by Sturdy Corp. Jordan loved the outdoors and was very talented athletically. He enjoyed fishing in his younger years and had played baseball and wrestled throughout his entire high school career. His paternal grandparents, Harold and Clara Perkins; maternal grandfather, Wayne Glisson and his aunt, Helen Tucker preceded him in death.

Survivors include his mother and father, Tammy and Harold Perkins; sister, Emily Perkins; brother, Cameron Perkins and maternal grandmother, Joyce Glisson all of Brunswick; aunts and uncles, Howard Perkins of Jesup, Darrell Perkins and Brenda and Kurt Bilow of Brunswick, Amy and Craig Smith of Camden County and Keith Glisson of Brunswick. Numerous cousins and extended family members also survive.

Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 24, 2014 at Howard & Jones Funeral Home in Jesup.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 25, 2014 at Howard & Jones Funeral Home in Jesup with Donald Pittman officiating.

Interment will follow in Piney Grove Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be Craig Smith, Jack Morris, Jack Hall, Justin Post, Brandon Morris and Kurt Bilow. Honorary pallbearers will be Kody Perkins, Landis and Macy Rotz, Emily Diamond, Emilee Roberson, Daniel Howe, Calvin Googe, Darrell Perkins and Wesley Googe.

Jordan will always be remembered as an outgoing, fun loving and respectful person who loved life, his family and his friends.

The family would like to express a heartfelt thanks to all of Jordan’s friends who loved and supported him till the very end.
