Gumbranch-John Andrew “Andy” Williams, 59, passed away on Tuesday, April 1, 2014 at Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida.

A Gumbranch resident for the past twelve years, Andy was born on October 4, 1954 in Jacksonville, Florida to the late Jesse Baxter Williams and Molly Ernestine Kendrick Williams Webb.  He spent his early years in Jacksonville and attended the University of North Florida where he was recipient of a Bachelor’s Degree of Music.  A perfectionist in many ways, Andy strived for excellence in his work as a tile setter.  He was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Ludowici and enjoyed reading, boating and fishing in his spare time.  However, his greatest love was his love of music.  As an accomplished pianist, Andy was a member of many different bands over the years and he worked tirelessly to better his skills.
