Hazel Lee Obituary
Hazel Lee, 77, passed away on Saturday, December 13, 2014 at home under the care of Heartland Hospice.
A resident of Wayne County most of her life, Hazel was born on December 28, 1936 in Duval County, Florida to the late James and Sarah Wilson. She worked several different jobs in her life and was a licensed practical nurse; however, her true love was taking care of her family. Hazel loved the Lord and was a member of the House of Worship and Ministries for over eighteen years. In her spare time, she enjoyed tending to her flower garden and fishing.
In addition to her parents, her husbands, Robert Fail and Walter Lee; her son Warren Williams; her daughter, Sylvia Manning and her brother Robert Wilson preceded her in death.
She is survived by five sons, Eugene Timothy Manders of Waycross, James Paul Groover of Glennville, Henry Vernon Allen, Jr. and wife, Tammy of Jesup, Robert Lee Fail of Claxton and Sidney Lytrell Fail of Jesup; two sisters, Mae Howard of Jesup and Linda Gail Dixon and husband, Shorty of Jesup and one brother Roy Wilson of Ludowici. A host of Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren and Great Great Grandchildren also survive as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members.
Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at Howard & Jones Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at Howard & Jones Funeral Home with Reverend Mickey Tomberlin officiating.
Active pallbearers will be elders of House of Worship and Ministries.
Interment will follow in Jesup City Cemetery.
