Henry was born in McIntosh County on June 17, 1925, where he was a life long resident. He enjoyed hunting in his younger days and made his living by working in the saw mill. In his later years he enjoyed smoking his pipe.
Henry was preceded in death by his two wives, Leona Rozier and later, Avie Andrews; and his daughter Ruby Conley.
Survivors include his daughters, Sue Nell (Carlis) Ryals of Townsend, Jonette Williams of McIntosh, Wanda Waggoner of Brunswick, and Charlene (Lonnie) Williams of Townsend; one half-sister, Ruth Heath of Darien; and one half-brother, Emory (Carol) Rozier of Atlanta; nine grandchildren; twenty two great-grandchildren; and one great-great- granddaughter.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, September 5, 2014 at the Plum Orchard Cemetery with Reverend Tommy Whaley officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services at the cemetery.
